Program Description       High school exchange academic Year program are designed for international high school students who are from14 to 17 years old. The main purpose is to exchange culture, which is characterized by “host family” and “study in the local school” The Chinese high school year consists of one academic year (10 months) or one term (5 months). The international students can come to China to learn local language, taste citizen life, enhance understanding of two countries and establish the eternal friendship forever.

The Chinese School System       The Chinese high school year consists of two terms and starts in the first week of September. The first term finishes at the end of January, two weeks before the Chinese New Year celebrations, and is followed by a three week vacation. The second semester starts one week after the Chinese New Year and ends in the third week of June.       Before starting in their schools we would like to offer students 1-2 months training including the basic Mandarin lessons; one culture course; and sightseeing. As well as allowing them to adapt to their environment this will give students some time to get over their jet lag.

Enrollment Requirements 1) High School students with 14-17 years old. 2) Students must be in good health. 3) Have a good commander of English with a minimum score 46 of SLEP test. 4) Be good at communication, strong possessiveness and undertake the role of International Cultural Exchange ambassador. 5) Open mind, passion, fit for the foreign culture and custom.

Program Length 1）One academic year( 10 months), from September to June of next year or from January to November. 2）One term (5 months), from January to June or from September to January next year.

program rules 1) Students will live with host family,however ,students must willingly engage in the host family's life style as a member of the family. 2) No students is allowed to possess or consume alcohol, tobacco,or drug. 3) Students must demonstrate qualities that are essential to intercultural adjustment,flexibility, open-minded,an ability to adapt to an unfamiliar environment. 4) Student must try their best to adapt and do well in school and home. 5) The host family is not responsible for the student's belongings and valuables.Personal possessions including cash and uninsured valuables are the student's responsibility. 6) Students must comply with the rules of Edusunrising Group. 7) Students are prohibited from using illegal drugs .students are NOT allowed to use any drugs without school and /or family's permission.
